Volunteer Registration
COACH, MANAGER, VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
Coaches, managers and volunteers must be registered with USA Hockey (which is free) and also complete Safesport and a background check. All diversified hockey coaches must be level 1 certified (1 time only for diversified hockey programs) and must complete the USA Disabled Hockey coaching module. Please follow the process outlined below.
ALL COACHES/MANAGERS/VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE THE ENTIRE PROCESS PRIOR TO STEPPING ONTO THE ICE FOR ANY PRACTICES OR GAMES.

STEP 1
Complete USA Hockey registration.
STEP 2
Create a SportsEngine account.
On the first page of the registration you will be prompted to create one.​
When this step is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
STEP 3
Complete USA Hockey SafeSport Training if 17 and older. Skip this step if under 17 and proceed to step 4.
STEP 4
Complete USA Hockey Background Screening.
STEP 5
Fill out Volunteer Information Form.
STEP 6 (Coaches only)
Complete USA Disabled Hockey Coaching Module/Deaf-HOH Module.​​

Log in or create a log in profile.

Click on the Coaching E-learning button.

Once there, search for the Disabled modules.

Complete both Main and Deaf/HOH modules.
(Can save and close, does not need to be completed all at one time.)
